ClipClone plans differ in the number of output minutes and the number of videos processed at once; all plans have the same features. Paid plans start at 2,990 ₽ per month for 750 output minutes; if you pay for a year, you get 12 months for the price of 10. To try the service, you get 5 free minutes once after your first login.

How much do ClipClone plans cost?

There are three public plans: Solo — 2,990 ₽, Pro — 7,490 ₽ and Scale — 17,990 ₽ per month. For volumes above 12,000 minutes per month or more than 10 videos per run there is a custom plan — from 24,990 ₽ per month. Paid plans currently have a 25–28% discount.

Plans differ in volume: how many output minutes you get per month, how many videos are processed at once, and how many videos you can send in one run. A 30-second copy is half an output minute, so twice as many 30-second copies fit as there are minutes.

What do all plans include?

The service's features are the same on all plans, including the free trial: plans differ only in the number of minutes, the number of videos processed at once and the price of an overage minute.

  • all four presets: “Standard”, “Optimal”, “Strong” and “Strong + vertical”;
  • a check of every copy: SSIM, pHash, dHash, PDQ and PSNR, comparison with the source and with 100 neighboring copies;
  • up to 10 videos per run and up to 1,000 copies of each clip;
  • uploads up to 2 GB: MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, M4V or a ZIP archive;
  • download of all unique copies as one archive or one by one.

How are output minutes counted?

Output minutes are the total length of all copies created. The length of each copy is rounded up to a whole second, and the total for the billing month up to a whole minute. A copy is almost the same length as the source, so for an estimate it's enough to multiply the clip length by the number of copies.

TaskCalculationOutput minutes
1 clip of 30 seconds, 20 copies30 s × 2010
1 clip of 15 seconds, 100 copies15 s × 10025
10 clips of 60 seconds, 10 copies each60 s × 10 × 10100
40 clips of 30 seconds, 20 copies each30 s × 20 × 40400 — Solo is enough
  • Minutes are counted by the result, not by server time: the strength of the changes doesn't affect the price.
  • Minutes are charged only for copies that passed the check: replacements for the ones that failed are free.
  • If you stop processing, only the finished copies are charged.
  • You see how many minutes a run needs before you start it.

You can easily work out your volume with the calculator on the home page. Detailed examples are in the guide “How much unique video versions cost”.

How does the free trial work?

After your first login, 5 free output minutes are added to your account — about 10 copies of a 30-second clip. That's enough to test the service on your own video. Trial minutes are given once and don't renew; during the trial, 1 video is processed at a time and there are no overage minutes.

The free trial is given to one person once. To continue after the trial minutes, activate a paid plan.

What happens if I run out of minutes?

On a paid plan, processing doesn't stop: overage minutes are charged at your plan's rate — 5 ₽ on Solo, 3.5 ₽ on Pro and 1.5 ₽ on Scale — by invoice at the end of the billing month. If you keep going over, the next plan is better value: its per-minute price is lower.

  • Paid plan minutes renew every billing month; the unused balance doesn't carry over.
  • During the free trial, processing beyond 5 minutes isn't available: the service will suggest making fewer copies with the remaining minutes.

What is the custom plan?

You need the custom plan if you require more than 10 videos per run or more than 12,000 output minutes per month. Dedicated processing servers are set aside for your volume, with up to 50 videos per run and a minute volume by agreement. The price is calculated individually, from 24,990 ₽ per month.

To discuss the custom plan, message Support: how many videos you need at a time, your approximate monthly minute volume and how often you run jobs.

How do I activate and pay for a plan?

There is no online payment on the site yet: Support activates your plan. Log in to your dashboard and message Support with the plan you need — they'll activate it in your dashboard. Your projects and copies stay when you change plans.

Under the Terms of Service, payment is made by invoice through Support, and services on paid plans are provided on a prepaid basis.

Which plan should I choose?

Work out your minutes per month: number of clips × copies of each × clip length in minutes. Then pick a plan by the result:

Output minutes per monthPlan
up to 5, oncefree trial
up to 750Solo
up to 3,000Pro

Common payment questions

Can I pay for a plan by card on the site?

Not yet. There is no online payment on the site: Support activates your plan, and payment is made by invoice.

Is there a discount for paying yearly?

Yes. When you pay for a year, you pay for 10 months and use the service for 12: Solo — 29,900 ₽, Pro — 74,900 ₽, Scale — 179,900 ₽ per year. Minutes are still credited every month according to the plan limit.

Do unused minutes carry over to the next month?

No. Paid plan minutes renew every billing month; the balance doesn't carry over. Trial minutes are given once.

Are minutes charged for copies that fail the check?

No. Minutes are charged only for copies that passed the check: instead of the ones that failed, the service makes free replacements — up to 5 attempts for each copy ordered. The exception is when you manually made the check thresholds stricter than in the built-in presets (for example, a pHash difference from the source above 15 of 64 or SSIM similarity below 0.80).

Does the price depend on the preset?

No. Only output minutes are charged; the strength of the changes doesn't affect the price.

Can I start with Solo and move to Scale?

Yes. Message Support with the plan you want to switch to. Your projects and copies stay when you change plans.
